Anyone know a good lawyer??!?
The sidewalk in front of my house has completely buckled, and tree roots lifted the concrete up by 4 inches in several spots. I have called about this issue many times! A “patch” of blacktop was suppose to be a temporary fix. That was done 15 years ago. Still nothing has been done. This is now a liability issue!!!

Hi Joan,
You might want to report this issue using the category, "𝙎𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙠𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙗 𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙚". That way, it will be assigned to our Public Works Department. Currently, this issue is assigned to the folks who monitor COVID-19 concerns.
I hope this information helps.

The DPW promised to fix my sidewalk 6 years ago due to a city tree damaging the walk. I have yet to have it fixed. Interesting, they have money to pave the streets off of Townsend, which are in much, much better shape before the repaving than Fairmont Avenue, which is full of pot holes. They also seem able to find the money to pave the streets near the airport off of Dean Street, which again are in much, much better shape before the repaving than Fairmont Avenue.
Must be some people with 'pull' living in those areas.

It has been 2 weeks since I reported the dangerous condition of the sidewalk in front of my home at 153 Fairmont Ave. No inspection has been done. Our street has heavy foot traffic, and elderly residents and children have tripped on the broken concrete. Often they walk out into the street to avoid the uneven walkway. I know you indicated that Fairmont Ave was scheduled for repair/ replacement , but when??? I know the pandemic has interrupted service /repairs , but this issue needs to be addressed! Just writing one line on Click Fix that it is scheduled is not sufficient! Does someone have to break an ankle for you to give this matter some attention?
