Description
To whom it may concern, according to the trash route, there should not be any garbage trucks that stopped on audubon street. However, American Waste along with other vendors have stopped outside of my windows on Audubon, as early as 3:30 AM to clean the dumpsters at Koffee and Audubon Court. Is there a way to make the trucks come later or not stop on Audubon? Thanks for your attention to the matter!

Thanks for reporting this - and thanks DPW for noting it. About a year ago there were lots of problems with private haulers coming before 5 am, but then they stopped. There was one incident in Feb. and I had set up a meeting to discuss how best to ensure private haulers abide by the rules - then COVID hit and the meeting was cancelled. I had not seen other reports of early trash pick ups since then -- but seeing this is a sign that we need to revisit the issue. Again, thanks for the heads up.
