I have to drive into traffic every day since Speeder and Earl's took away the bike lane cones. Always fun to dodge speeding buses, trucks, and cars on Pine Street. Closing off the bike path for years was a pretty terrible thing to do to south end residents but at least making Pine Street safer for bikes was some consolation. It's really too bad lazy parking for coffee takes priority over bicycle commuters.

Did they actually have permission from DPW to remove the protected bike lane from that area, or did they just do it on their own?
