Description

Continuation, Persistent loud buzz/electric motor sound.
We walked up Marston around 8 last night. Noise coming from a pool filter or heater, white house with Xmas lights a couple #s up from the park.
Can the city even advise the homeowner if the complaint isn't some Tufts kids having a loud one-time only party?

A 3 minute walk for a half block in the company of the homeowner would be enough to get them to see reason about a noise complaint.

It actually stopped early afternoon Friday, then started up early evening. It ran all night long & it is running now. Since the pandemic I'm pretty much stuck now working at home all day & it's difficult to concentrate. In any case I want to once again be able to have a TV or stereo on w/out the volume cranked, and get to sleep w/out ear plugs. It's a hassle to have to close all the 2nd flr windows- even the other side of the house- because you can hear the noise 4 houses away.
