Description
I have a dumpster in the parking lot and near the sidewalk. Since I don't own the parking lot and there's no room in the back, I have nowhere else I can put it. I've been having issues for years with tenants in other buildings and passersby dumping trash into my dumpster causing it to overflow. Sometimes, the garbage company won't come to pick up because there's just so much trash all over the place and the dumpster can't be moved.
Is there any way we could put public trash cans on Court St. so that my dumpster isn't used publicly either? I have signs, security cameras, and have called the police on several occasions but there's only so much that we could do on our own and the situation hasn't gotten better.
Not only because of the residential buildings in the area, but there's also a lot of foot traffic because the State Street train station is at the end of the street. I can't be held responsible for the overflowing trash and litter that spews over to the street sometimes and shouldn't be paying more to have it dumped more frequently. Can we please have something done about this or can I talk to someone in more detail?
