Please report to the Cambridge Police business line at 617-349-3300 for investigation and enforcement.

Car is still there, not sure why this is closed if Traffic didn't call the Cambridge Police and have it towed.

Thanks to whoever first reported this, I kept meaning to.

I just called in to the Police Department as suggested by Traffic - KC. Please do not close this issue until the Police have investigated it and taken appropriate action detailed as a comment to this issue.

I know it is pandemic time and City staff is working off-site but still it is frustrating that it took more than 3 weeks to get the reopened issue acknowledged.
The car was moved for the street cleaning day (tire was fixed to move it) so it is not totally abandoned and its owner must be a resident/visitor on Norris Street.
Would appreciate hearing the result of your staff's investigation soon.

The car is still there and it has been moved once again for the street cleaning. I really would like to hear from the Police, Traffic, Parking, and Transportation or City Hall – DR what the City regulations are for dead storing a junked car on the streets and what measures can be taken to enforce these regulations.
The City should not be sending email to submitter of an issue that "Your issue has been outstanding for 31 days. If your issue hasn't been fixed yet, please click below to comment or share. Otherwise, you can close the issue." And as I have been pointing out time after time, an issue should not be close with a vague promise that it will be taken care of in due time. Rather, it should be the responsibility of the City to resolve the issue, reinspect the area as necessary to confirm that the issue had been resolved and document the results before closing the issue.

Good afternoon. Officers have responded to this location on multiple occasions and looked into the vehicle in question. The motor vehicle is active and does belong to a resident on the street. It is not an abandoned vehicle.
