Water leaking between 395 and 409 Bryant street. I’ve reported this many times over the last few years most recently just before the water pipe replacement project was started. Thanks

The water department will investigate. As with prior concerns towards this surface water issue, our past investigations have found no traces of potable water treatment within the puddling. Leak detection surveys have found no active leaks within the main line grid within the area. We have also come to realize after several visits that this surface water appears shortly after rain events. We have once again made a request to the MWRA over night leak detection crew to help find the origin of this surface water reoccurring circumstance. Our department will be placing listening devices within the water mains on Bryant and the surrounding areas. We will also dispatch the waste water crew to investigate the flow in the waste water mains. Also we will send the Storm water crew out to clear and clean the catchment system to create room and volume(s) to receive rain water, in case this issue leads to rain water runoff.
Please note we are aware and have been monitoring this problem and continue taking steps to pin point these concerns. Please feel free to call upon me for status.
