This truck is constantly parked along these streets. And usually over the curb, ripping up grass and plantings.

He claims he is an emergency vehicle, that’s only true when he is in motion, not parked on the sudewalk

Emergency or not, he is parked well beyond the no parking here to corner sign. Will it take an accident because you can not see around him by the corner, or a fire where emergency vehicles can not clear the already narrow streets. I have been complaining for OVER a year and the city has done nothing!

And the owner of the company has been contacted numerous times, each time he says he wasn’t aware of the problem, but will speak to his employee about it...... NADA he continues to park with total disregard 😳😳😳

As annoying as it will be, I’d say just keep opening new reports about this. I get the feeling the people that should be doing something about this tend to forget about issues that are older than a day.

On going , owner of company was contacted several times and each times pretends it’s the first time , he’s heard of the problem and that he will talks to his employee, but nothing ever changes, the owner of the company should be billed for all the damages his employee does to the landscaping that is constantly damaged by that employee disregard, then maybe it will stop, I even posted the complaint on their FB page, sent private messages and no one has the decency to get back to us

This has been open since July 9,2020 it now September 9 , 2020 two months and no action has been taking , who in charge of the site? Where the follow up and by whom is it followed up by???? Lots of questions, but never any answers , let’s start sent email to captain Lougal at Steven,Lougal@bridgepotct.gov. Like he asked us to do at the meeting

I have been reporting this issues on this site since May 30th 2019.

This is an on going issue. No one from the city has addressed it (as far as we know) it continues to happen regularly

After all this time, nothing has been done about this issue. Parking this oversized commercial vehicle on our small community streets. The violation continues and not a thing has been done to remedy it!!!

Sigh. I know. This has gotten so old. Makes me wonder if repeatedly breaking the village rules couldn't be grounds for removal of the owner of the truck.......

Imagine that!! 270 days and still absolutely nothing has been done about it!! Come on folks, can't you at least give him a ticket?!!!

some tow trucks and police are affiliated they work together, but that is also Bridgeport for you, the good got to suffer for the bad and the police are ok with it

Going on for years, nothing has ever been done. Will not til he is blocking the street now that we have parking on both sides and a fire truck can not get through. At least he had stopped parking on the curb/grass and destroying both.

Call the police? The same police that allow fireworks and music to go on for hours and hours. They will however respond and shoot a Turkey.

It has been addressed many times , someone is not doing their job. Or they just keep paying the parking violations, the owner of the company should be fined, he’s the boss…… maybe then he will address the problem with his employee. Or stop letting him take that vehicle home when he’s on call

Neither the owner or the employee seem to care. I don't believe they have been receiving fines or tickets because they continue to violate constantly...

I’ve sent messages to the company via their Facebook page, so they know and the police have spoken to them. What else can we do? Open to suggestions

This issue has never been addressed!! It's been going on so long the offender has replaced this tow truck with a new one and is still illegally parking it overnight on our city streets!!

For over two years you have ignored this issue! It continues to this day with an additional violation now he has a new commercial vehicle with out of state license plates (an additional violation). Why do you refuse to address this? Two years you have not even responded!!!!

I see it’s still open, it’s a public street, we have to call the police, each and every time it’s parked out there, that’s the only thing that’s going to work. Calling the employer didn’t work , so if we constantly call the police they will start to come out and give tickets

As a resident, you already know that the BPD will not address parking issues in the village. They have made that clear. But call and confirm this information as it is at least a year old.

Why is this issue being closed? It is an on going problem that has never been address. The vehicle is this there nightly. A commercial vehicle with out of state (NY) plates.

"Illegal vehicle on property" is a category for vehicles being parked on private property and is enforced by the Zoning department. This complaint is about commercial vehicles being parked on the street which should be enforced by the police.
