As I have informed the management of this business months ago I believe the "disabled persons" parking spaces provided at this Safeway Store fail to meet the reasonable accommodations provision under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The spaces provided are too far from the store’s entrance and because of their location they create an untenable condition to exist in which those citizens who suffer from disabilities affecting their mobility experience unnecessary challenges and hardships. Also note that based on the volume of business which this store experiences I would think more spaces would be allocated as frequently there are more people in need than there are designated disabled parking spots.
