Jersey City is supposed to perform testing. I spoke with JCMUA and was told they would call me back to arrange for sample collection but never did. I’ve tried contacting them several times and they never return my phone call (except for one excellent administrator named Maria).

I just spoke to the Director at the JCMUA, he has been advised that our meter shop does swab the internal service line to detect if the line is lead; however, we are not entering any properties due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
Lead level testing in the water is contracted to an outside company. That company was provided your email address and will be in contact you.
