Bar Area:
Establishment had set up a small plexy glass shield area for customers to stand behind while bartender got their drinks. A line of tables has been placed against the lip of the bar to push customers >6' from the bartender (see photo). Explained to Amanda that this is not acceptable. The bar cannot be used this way. Per Amanda the bar will no longer be accessible to patrons.
7/21/2020: Met with GM Dewayne Scott. Per Mr. Scott they will be installing a plexy barrier on the bar (following the Phase 2 guidance) so that people can sit at the bar in a social distance manner. Will call for me to review when complete. Exterior bar is closed as it doesn’t meet the Phase 2 guidelines.
Pick up area (both inside restaurant and take-out area)
A barrier has been installed (only with a glass guard) that keeps customers >6' away from the food line as they move thru. Customer food is placed in a cardboard container and sealed at the end of the line (customers take their foods to approved table seating to consume it- no waitress service is offered by the establishment as they feel this reduces the risk for their staff). The problem is the cashier station (see photo). There is no barrier in between the cashier and the customer. Explained to Amanda that a barrier must be installed in this area (same would apply to the take-out area window). Amanda said that they would be going out and getting plastic to provide this barrier.
