It's bad enough that they leave their cars running. Any child could get in it and knock it out of gear. And it's more terrible to leave your children in the car. But to leave children the car while it's running? What are people thinking?

Record the license plate next time & call it in to the police Dept maybe they will call or send a warning to the driver

I leave mine in the drivers seat while the car is in gear... gotta teach'em to drive sooner or later.

wow really???? so you would rather have small children running through a parking lot with buses and cars coming in and out instead of in a vehicle where they are secure? I have seen this as well.... there is one mom in particular at Fairfax that has one too many children and does not watch them while picking her older children up. They run in front of buses and through the parking lot consistently. Personally I feel that they would be much safer if they were left in a vehicle.

How is a child secure in a running vehicle while it's unoccupied? Seriously? Another thing to think about, IT'S ILLEGAL! As far as the children running around, I've not seen that. I'm just happy that I wont have to be there this year to see all of the irresponsible parents neglecting their children.

I agree with what this post says but not as it was intended, sorry. I think we all know that the real problem are the perverts who would do harm to others especially to the more vulerable. I really think that this should be our focus, don't you? and why not? Anyway, I just felt to put my two cents in. God bless.
