All the lights in Macon are problematic. I am quite confident you will get a reply back saying they are working as designed and that the fault lies with the driver. That is their standard answer.

That’s pretty much the comment I got. The light is working correctly and the longest wait is 1.5 minutes. It’s the drivers who are impatient.

I would like to say that since posting this the light seems to be functioning back to normal, but it has been an on and off issue pretty regularly for that intersection.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have been trying to find out the problem with this intersection. Sometimes it like finding a needle in a haystack. I spoke to the Traffic Engineer and he has made some adjustments to the timing and hopefully this will take care of the issues you are seeing. Please let us know if this problem continues.
