I received a copy of your email to the Mayor's office regarding potholes on Woodland Blvd. A work order has been issued to repair these. Unfortunately, we do not have funding at this time to perform a mill and overlay on this street.

Your response alone is a breath of fresh air. Honesty is the first step is problem mitigation.
1) We have a problem
2) We don't have funding for fixing
Can we redefine the second one to see if there is a way to make something happen. Would would a mill alone cost. I suspect that the concrete below isn't in bad of shape as the asphalt and removal of it may be sufficient for a while.
Could I lease the equipment and remove the asphalt then be reimbursed for the cost? I would love to help if you have any suggestions.
Thanks again for the reply!

Sid, do you have other people in the area who want this fixed, as well. We've found that if things are a priority to citizens, the budget can change.
You may want to send to a friend or get others to vote "I want this fixed too!"
Also, you could submit photos or video through the website.
