I definitely agree with this this issue, and would love to see the red arrow for left turns onto Whitaker Mill turned into a flashing yellow. It would be much more efficient for drivers heading in this direction to have their wait time for turning diminished.

I don't know what you guys are thinking, but allowing a right turn off of WM to Atlantic is a TERRIBLE idea. Visibility is actually very limited of the southbound Atlantic traffic due to a curve in the road. One would have to floor it and pray. I don't like sitting there, either, but the existing no right turn law is the right course of action. They yellow arrow? Sure.

I think the main issue is a flashing yellow for the northbound left turn onto Whitaker Mill instead of a turn arrow. At least that has been the most frustrating for me. Visibility is not really an issue as you can see all the way down the hill any oncoming traffic. But I agree that the "No Right Turn on Red" should remain intact as that is an extremely dangerous right turn with virtually ZERO visibility.

When traveling southbound on Wake Forest Rd. it is nearly impossible to see Courtland Dr. as you approach for the south due to the number of tree limbs and vegetation blocking visibility of the street as you round the curve. Requesting that the tree lime and vegetation at this intersection be cut back.

Trimming the the trees and vegetation at the intersection of Courtland Dr. and Wake Forest Rd. should be an easy and inexpensive fix and go along way toward insuring everyones safety. Confident the City will act in a timely fashion. Have a dear friend in the Governor's office and unless something happens soon will not hesitate to give Constituent Services a call.
