I have made a request to DPW to please look at this street. I agree, it is a mess.

yup, pretty bad. it's a minefield, and I just use it as a way to get from Main to Lucas. I can't imagine what it's like for residents.

I notice that DPW patches the street (they just did one big pothole near Lucas)

What would residents of this street think of making it a one way street? Do you think it will help ease the traffic problems?

never got fixed and now with winter here the plows will make it much worse

ok so its getting worse and worse everyday. and now the plows and really destroying it in this snow.. its been a year now and noone has done anything. what is wrong with this town

They can't fix it in winter, and all streets get worse in winter. Bring the issue to the attention of DPW and your aldermen in another month to get prioritized for paving in the Spring.

Green Street's similarly crumbling. I'm hoping that get's prioritized as well.

And they are working to keep the taxes down. We can't repave the entire town every year. They did a lot of excellent repaving last summer. So keep on them to repave it - but don't loose patience in the middle of winter. That's just going to make DPW ignore you!

Well, I know Green Street has been prioritized. I have no idea about this street. Contact Matt Dunn or Tom Hoffay (the aldermen for wards 1 and 2 respectively).
