Is anything happening on the bike racks?

Please don't make the bike racks pricey art and then put them in areas where skateboarders want to grind. Also placing them where they are visible to more people who might be inclined to stop the theft of bike parts or whole bikes to thieves with bolt cutters. Hopefully the racks are placed near transit areas but not in a vandal heavy area, and out of potential car damage zone. Thanks...

What is the status of the voting on where to put bike racks?

Has anything been done about this? What was the tally of the votes? When will we see these bike racks?
