Something needs to be done at this intersection -- perhaps make it a 3-way stop instead of a 2-way stop. Drivers who wish to stay on Route 44/55 eastbound by bearing left at the intersection almost never put their blinkers on to turn left, and so if you're stuck at the stop sign from Milton Turnpike to westbound 44/55, you never know when it's safe to go unless there are no cars coming eastbound (which is often not the case). One would assume if the driver is not using their blinker, they will continue straight onto Milton Turnpike, making it safe for you to proceed through the intersection -- but I've seen that happen maybe 3 times in the countless times I've driven through here.
