Complainant states that the Water Dept. repaired a water main break and after it was repaired, it caved in and left a large hole near the curb. It has been like that since Friday and it really needs to be fixed.

The City of Detroit DPW Street Maintenance have INVESTIGATED and REFERRED this service request. The location of the reported DWSD repair was found to be a huge cave-in and made safe by City employees. This has been REFFERED as IMMEDIATE ATTENTION NEEDED to Detroit Water and Sewerage for further investigation. Our goal is to reduce inconveniences and promote safe travels within the City of Detroit. Investigated by Foreman Pritchett on 7/29/2020

Not surprise same thing almost happen on Manor between Oakman and Joy. The contractor the city hires is not doing. good jobs. And they are doing messy jobs
