Looks like the raccoon could have died from rabies - this could be a serious health issue, so it should be disposed of as soon as possible. School children walk by here.
When I walked to school this morning, I had to step over it. Walking home, I still had to step over it. I also saw a dog try to eat it. Please fix it before I go to school tomorrow.
Hey wait a minute. The obviously dead raccoon was inspected by public works today - but they said it was alive and punted to animal control. Animal control now says nobody ever told them about it. How long do tax payers have to look at a dead animal on CHAPEL street before "well pensioned" city employees dispose of it. This is outrageous. Do we have to wait for neighborhood kids and pets start playing with it?
