Because of Non-High profile residents and Poor students at Riddle Elementary school, no body care for the safety of little children and the residents who lives on Huron Street (from Riddle to Lenawee), we need couple speed bumps to discourage drug dealers and others who trying run away from Law enforcement officers. You will be surprised to see how many speed bumps West Moorse river Dr (from MLK....) because of High profile residents. Where is the justice. We need at least few speed bumps. Is any body care for the safety of kids (Riddle Elementary) and residents??????

The city of Lansing is divided up into 35 traffic calming areas. Huron and the area around Sexton and Riddle (south of Michigan) are within Area 13. We have not collected traffic data in this area for traffic calming, but will schedule this for the spring of 2014, when we start performing counts again. This will allow us to determine whether or not Huron and the other streets in the area meet our traffic calming criteria (500 vehicles per day and an 85th percentile speed of 35 miles per hour). We will also schedule Huron for our radar speed trailer in the spring.
