My wife and I have lived here for 31 years. We raised our children on this block. It has been a nice residential neighborhood until now. The house next door sold yesterday and today has been nothing but many "rental property" vehicles racing up and down the block apparently in a hurry to prepare the house for short term rental. Of the 8 homes on our block, 3, as far as I know, are now available for short term rental. What is Sarasota County doing to protect me and my wife, along with remaining homesteaders on my street, from this horrible blight? The address in question is 1245 Big Oak Lane, Sarasota, Fl 34242
