Sign only visible right at intersection. Trees need to be trimmed and sign needs to be moved.

Vegetation could be trimmed and problem solved... no need to install yet another sign post -- we have so many of them all over when consolidating signs with utility poles conserves the effort and reduces visual clutter. On occasion, APD has monitored this intersection to enforce the all-way stop because so many try to cut through on Helderberg to avoid the stop lights...perhaps we need some more enforcement. There was a recent comment here on SCF of an identical issue at Grove/Helderberg.

Right, we'd definitely rather have that corner be pretty instead of safe. 3/4 stop signs are on poles by themselves at that intersection already, one more is going to make it visually abhorrent all of the sudden?

I think you missed my point -- visual clutter is what leads to unsafe signage -- and additional poles are one more thing that the City will have challenges to maintain. I do not understand why a new dedicated pole is needed when the real issue is vegetation and lack of maintenance. Stop signs placed too close to the road cause snow plows to not clear the entire street which causes more unsafe conditions in the winter months.
