Description
Dear Sir,
I have tried to remedy this situation via emails to the town but with no success........
The morning after Hurrican Isaias at approximately 7:15 am, a truck containing 2 town employees was driving through my neighborhood to inspect the area and any damage caused by the storm. There was a large branch in the MIDDLE of the road in front of the mailboxes near the intersection of gates 2 and 3. This limb is approximately 15 feet long. Instead of taking the limb and placing it in either their truck or in their trailer, the limb was tossed onto the berm of the vacant lot at 12 gate 3. It remains there until this day. I understand that carolina shores is not doing debris pick up but this limb was in the middle of the road and it was simply pushed to the side onto the berm of a vacant lot.
This is unacceptable. It should be removed by the town. Please have this debris removed. I have cleaned up small debris on this vacant berm as well as the one at 16 gate 3 in order to keep our neighborhood looking clean and well maintained but i do not feel that i should have to deal with this huge limb that was in fact put there by the town employees.
I hope this can be addressed quickly.
PS-the stop sign at the intersection of gate 2 and gate 3 has been hit by a delivery or work truck at least once. We put a wooden stake in to help keep it vertical but it definitely needs some repair.
Thanking you in advance for your help.

The town employees were not pulling a trailer the morning after the hurricane at 715 am. Also the town employees make a pass after the hurricane to pull limbs off the street and then they come back and remove the limbs and haul them off if they are not on or come from private property or the POA responsibility. I don't know what you are referring to but I will try to find out. Close
