For years, it's been fine. Don't move out here if you want to change everything you dislike. Be more cautious and be a more responsible drivers....the last thing we want if Chester County to TURN INTO Delaware County.....don't like it, oh, well. It's a driver's resposiblity to take caution, really, give it a break!

It's not just the lights that need to be changed here, but the signage also....the lanes should be clearly marked on which lanes you should be in for which roads...and i agree, westbound 3 should have a turn light...I never go that way for the fact that you can never safely turn left onto 352 from West Chester Pike.

So know your driving laws and be the responsible drivers your supposed to be with holding a PA Drivers License...DONT RUIN THE ENVIROMENT because PEOPLE ARE CARELESS....give me a break. I've lived here since the 1970's...IM SICK OF IT......even on Oakbourne Road there is a stop sign at Goose Creek.....GIVE ME A BREAK, and guess what, I don't STOP...I use caution and proceed....WHY ? Its safe enough to proceed IF YOUR CAREFUL....that is just it...NOBODY WANTS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY ANYMORE...Go Back to Delaware County if you need traffic lights...SORRY

seekingpeace (peach?) - I don't like excessive stoplights or stop signs either, but Rt 3 and Rt 352 are major thoroughfares in the county. Just because something worked in the 1970s doesn't mean it should work today. There's been significant growth throughout southeast PA in the last 30 years, and this is just one of MANY examples of how the infrastructure has not kept pace with development. Modernizing our roadways doesn't simply mean fixing potholes and bridges... it also means updating roads to accommodate 21st century traffic patterns. The solution here is cheap and simple... add a couple signs, change the timing of the lights, maybe add a turn signal. This is just good civil engineering; it has nothing to do with responsibility, carelessness, or the environment..
