We recently bought our home at 348 Metropolitan Blvd in March. According to our neighbors who have been owners of their homes for many years (some original owners) our yard is a part of an easement for our neighborhood. There are about 5 houses that were engineered to manage the neighborhood water drainage through their yards and we are one of them. We tried to put in a work order thinking the issue was with a blocked pipe in the road and that was cleared a week or so ago and that has only made the flooding worse. The flooding backs up into our garage, underneath our house, is causing yard erosion, constant water standing, and TONS of mosquitoes. We have many more videos and photos we can share if needed. We are hoping the county can let us know if this is a county issue or our issue and what rights we have to fixing this problem.
