Use Sidewalks; I can't tell you the number of times I have had to stop, swerve or take other evasive action to avoid imbeciles in the street. Does no one teach kids today that streets are meant for motor vehicles. When I was growing up we were taught to stop, lool, and listen. If there was traffic coming we were taught not to walk out in front of it. We were taught that people have a right to park in spaces provided without being challenged by wise guy , punks trying to impress thier buddies and girlfriends.
I just came from the Post Office on Sith Avenue where I was challenged and called names because I wanted to park so I could conduct legitimate business in the P.O. What is the problem with these people. Why do i face down punks to park my vehicle. I think that parents and teachers need to address this issue with kids.
It's not just kids, tho', I have had similar experiences with adults too. When walks are covered with snow, I can understand, but, rthere is not a drop of snow in sight. I think this deserves more attention by our city fathers than the stray cat issue. Or will it take someone getting hurt before anything happens?
