It has been determined that slump in the center of the roadway in the 2300 block of SE Indiana is caused by deteriorated pavement only and not caused by a water, stormwater or sanitary sewer issue. Those utilities are not under this location. The slump has been filled with asphalt by the Street Maintenance Division and inspected by our Street Reconstruction Manager in Engineering. A project is planned on neighborhood streets in the area for 2025. However, the pavement engineer believes SE Indiana from 23rd to 27th will need significant work before 2025. The stretch has been put on the list for 2023, if funding and time allow. Otherwise it would be done in a following year. I am keeping this project open and will check on it again in February 2023.
