Ticket 163857 was entered for a curb cut to be done at that crosswalk. All curb cuts have finished for the year and will not begin again till spring. The DPW is aware of what is need in that location and will address it in the spring.

Many thanks for responding so quickly. We will leave the ticket open until it is fixed in the spring. Once the work order has been acted on, please close the issue. That way, others won't request to have it fixed!

nope not fixed in the spring, like was promised 10 months ago.

July 8, 2011: This issue is still not fixed! And there was a State - administered "design meeting" here some weeks ago for the Union Square Green Line.... the municipal facility here (CUmmings School) has also been cited by the U.S. Department of Education as being inaccessible- that ramp is incorrectly built and the "access door" at the bottom only leads to certain facilities within the school on that floor - not to everywhere within this school.
