Description

There has been excessive speeding on Beachview Ave/Olive Ave, where many young children are present and play. Speeds have been recorded as high as 50mph in a 20moh zone. This has been going on for some time, especially as the neighborhood has become a more commonly used shortcut to avoid higher traffic on Broadway and Salem St. Frequent radar enforcement would lead to a much safer community and increased revenue for the city. An alternative to radar enforcement would be speed humps and electronic radar signs, which are utilized in other adjacent neighborhoods. Please consider taking action before someone is hurt or more accidents occur.
