Thank you for notifying our department of this abandoned vehicle. We will have an officer respond to check for any community care taking issues, as resources allow. We are currently experiencing a high number of requests/complaints reference abandoned/illegally parked vehicles. Thank you for helping to keep our streets safe.

It’s on two Jack’s now. This is a hazard to animal pets and people. It’s not just an abandoned vehicle but an unsafely abandon vehicle. The imbecile that owns it should be paying for the towing

if we call and request towing, are we responsible for the charges?

Once a call for service is placed, an officer will respond to check for any community care taking issues i.e. hazards/safety concerns. If he/she finds the vehicle to have these issues, they will arrange the towing of the vehicle. A vehicle parked on a public street can't be legally towed except by the owner or local law enforcement agency. Please don't hesitate to call the PD Traffic Bureau at 951-736-2330 option 2, if you have any further questions or concerns about traffic or parking related issues.

On 9/9/20, a call for service was placed for a patrol officer to respond to check for any community care taking issues involving the listed vehicle. The officer made contact with the owner and they were advised to move the vehicle from the public street. On 9/15/20, Parking Enforcement responded to check on the status and the vehicle was no longer parked on the public street.
