Agree with this post 100%. We’ve lived close to East Rock since 2002 and can’t believe that it continues unchecked. They are not enjoying the view.

not for nothing but I really don't think any thing can be done w/ people sitting in chairs although they might be there for other reasons, good luck w/ your claim,maybe its time to walk elsewhere but that's just my view

Please dont give up. These are most likely exploited women who have never chosen to be in this situation. I went this afternoon, and you are correct, they are not there to see the view. It makes my stomach turn; I always assumed they were just selling drugs, not humans. Thank you thank you, whoever started this thread.

I see that men have taken over the public park bench up the hill where they enter their "private trail" to carry out their business , which is in fact a public trail. Can anyone suggest what heading to repost in? No one either city, park, health or police have responded to this . The only option I see is Health. It seems the parking lot is populated more than ever with these men waiting and scoping in their cars...

This reported issue is hom*phobic. Please read the issue again and replace the words denoting males with words denoting females. How does it look now?

The only illegal activity in this reported issue is the allusion that there are people having s*x in the park; however, the complainant tries to veil that with other baseless reasons. There is nothing wrong with people sitting in lawn chairs, sitting on park benches, sitting in their cars or even just looking at people. Heck, I look at lots of people every day. That's because I'm alive and I'm a social creature.

Okay, so there are people having s*x outside. I'm pretty sure that's been a part of our species for about a million years. It is blatantly obvious, the person who reported this issue finds it repulsive that g*y dudes have chosen East Rock Park as their hook-up spot, but the complainant doesn't directly state that because of the fear of being exposed as hom*phobic.

That's why the complainant is trying to use different reasons to express his or her discomfort. This is one of the most transparent issues I've ever seen reported.

Also, posting pictures of people online accompanied with accusations that they're criminals is illegal. Please take a moment and try to put this into perspective.

Imagine if one day, you went to a park to walk your dog. After returning home, one of your friends calls you and tells you someone posted a picture of you online. You go online and discover your friend was right. You see a picture of you and your dog, and under the picture are words accusing you of being a criminal. How would that make you feel?

You opened this issue 2 years, 9 months, and 20 days ago. I'm doing you a favor by closing it. There is nothing wrong with people sitting in a park; even if you don't like the way they look at you.

Please try to imagine how you would feel if someone tried to criminalize your innocent activities.

Also, please share your complaint with your friends and relatives, and then, please listen to their feedback.
