Not sure how many pedestrians have experienced this issue, but cars are speeding way beyond the limit on this street. I just almost got hit by a car. Where did the crosswalk panel go? Frankly, it never helped, but without it is worse. Also, is there plan for the speed bumps?

In late June I almost got hit by a « not in service » MBTA bus exactly at the same crosswalk and had to formally file a complaint.
Also on Trowbridge street, buses and cars are by far over the speed limit and it is worse and worse.
The City has never responded when I asked them when they would finally install a 20mph speed limit sign on Trowbridge Street, as it has been planned for 1 year !

I’d like to see, 20mph signs, actual police visibility in this area patrolling for speed. Don’t ask for speed bumps yet. Please please please. Pass this along.

I have been waiting for some response, too, on Maple Ave. Cars come flying down Maple from Cambridge Street, and there's a tot playground only 4 houses down from Cambridge St; right where these speeding cars are hitting peak acceleration.
I've asked for a raised intersection at the intersection of Maple & Marie to protect the children & families who use the tot playground, as well as to protect those who live further down Maple.
