Description
We have a fairly frequently unnoticed fire hydrant on Longmont Drive that is often parked in front of. I have no problem notifying guests to my property if they park there, but recently other neighbors visitors have frequently parked there. There's decent shade from the tree and it's green and yellow so easily missed. Can we get it painted Red, along with a red strip on the curb, and/or a no parking sign? I'd hate for my family or a neighbors family to need it one day and have delays to the fire dept.

Thanks for the update. I definitely wasn't reporting a specific offense, but wanting to just notify of an increasingly frequent problem I'd like to avoid given the hydrant is fairly disguised and often unnoticed.
Hopefully the public works team will be able to resolve, thanks so much for tagging them in!
Best,
Camry

Any chance there's an update here? In observing the whole neighborhood during an occasional walk I've found multiple additional concerns around this.
1) a number of hydrants used to be painted red and were painted yellow and green, this is more noticeable onna number if hydrants that have faded and chipped.
2) On these faded ones, specifically, they're even less noticeable then the one Ive reported.
3) A number of hydrants around the neighborhood frequently have cars parked directly in front of them.
I can't help but think this is a major hazard in the event of an emergency. Is there anything that can be done to make them a bit more noticeable? My specific hope is we can do something similar/consistent with downtown where the curb is painted red to signify a no-parking/fire-lane.
Let me know if I can help in any other way.
Cheers

In fact, it looks like we have someone parking directly in front of the hydrant here, overnight tonight...
Anything you can do to prioritize this would be helpful.
