I think I know the house. We are almost always forced into the street on a blind corner because one or more cars block the sidewalk. I have been wondering the same thing.

I'm confused. You say that you investigated by coming out to check, but I didn't provide any location details (except for my home location - which is not the location of the offense). So when you say you investigated but didn't find anyone currently in violation, what exactly were you referring to? I didn't want to post an address because I don't want it to be public. If you want to investigate the issue, then let me know how I should share the offending address with you. I've tried leaving notes asking (nicely) for them to not park across the sidewalk (every evening, overnight and into the morning), but they don't care.

We investigated by patrolling the area surrounding the address provided looking for a vehicle blocking the sidewalk in the neighborhood and were unable to locate same. If you do not wish to leave the offender’s address on here, you may contact the non-emergency line at 919-554-6150 when the violation is occurring and an Officer will be dispatched to the scene. 613 Lakeview Ave - blocking the sidewalk all the time - most often there in the mornings through 9 or 10 and in the evenings, when most people are out and using the sidewalks. Curve causes blind spot which presents a dangerous situation

The violation happens daily in the mornings and the evenings, usually from around 5pm through 8 or 9am the following morning (sometimes earlier).. I'm assuming that there is nobody available to come by during those times. So how should that be handled? If you can't come by during non-business hours, what should we (the neighbors) do?

They have 4 cars. 1 or 2 block the sidewalk from late afternoon/early evening through morning. Every day. If you are patroling during the day then you are going to miss most violations in all neighborhoods for that matter.
