A gas powered leaf blower was used to loft dust and noxious fumes at both 875 University Dr and 907 Oak Ln, at 9:30 am on Sep 15, a Spare the Air day, in violation of City code section 8.07.030.

1. Sometimes when I call 650-330-6300 to report blower violations, I'm asked to report them online. The MPPD's online reporting site at https://www.menlopark.org/617/Online-crime-reporting directs links to https://seeclickfix.com/menlo-park/report (i.e., this site) for reporting municipal code violations.
2. At other times, the report is taken over the phone by someone who says an officer will drop by if available. However, although I've waited for varying periods, I've never seen an officer arrive. Meanwhile, gardeners aren't exactly waiting around. For another resident's similar experience, see issue 8572452, which reports two occasions where no officer arrived.
3. Palo Alto has a better system. The report is taken online, manually verified, and a letter is dispatched to the homeowner (apparently), who is responsible for notifying the gardener.
4. Messaging around how to report blower violations has been confusing. Many have asked about it on Nextdoor. If your prescription is official, please post it clearly on the MPPD web site.
