I have managed to move around the 15 or 20 raised obstructions that have been sticking up on Washington ave for months now. Today there were more cones and gates that redirected traffic. Because of the many holes and raised obstructions you cannot go very fast on that street. My car has low profile wheels on it so it cannot take much of a hole/obstruction. I received 2 flat tires to my front and rear right hand side of my car. I have used Rt 27 (which is also under construction) and Speen street many times to avoid Washington Ave but today I needed to access Rt 9 East. What does the town do for this kind of damage happening to its residents of 30 years? I would think I am due 2 new tires at a minimum.
