Is this section of Riverside Ave, leading to and from the Fellsway, a two or four lane road. Many drivers treat this section of road as though it has four lanes - two in each direction. But it is not marked as such. Is this section of road one lane or two lanes in each direction?

Thank you for notifying the City with your concerns. Primarily, it is currently marked as a very wide one lane in each direction and striped as two lanes at the approach to Commerical. The City can consider adjusting these markings, typically this occurs after utilty or paving effots.
The approach to Fellsway, although not striped, may function or be used as two lanes based on usage. Any formal change at the approach to the Fellsway would involve coordination w DCR since the Fellsway and the traffic signal/int. are owned & operated by DCR; typically approaches to a signal are considered part of an int.
The Traffic Commission would likely need to approve any changes.
