Who is the building owner? When you say too many people living there, how many is that? No more than 3 unrelated adults are allowed in a single rental unit. If there is more, this should be reported to DNS.
The owner is dwight grosse. There are at least four or five adults there and it's a two bedroom. I think that 3 of them are siblings...does that count as related if they are adults?
The law is no more than 3 unrelated adults without a rooming house license. Minimum fine is $2,500 per overcrowding case. If there are sleeping units in the attic or basement, that is illegal.
There are no major complaints or violations in the DNS system for 2758 BOOTH, but there are repeated complaints this year of vehicles parking on the yard/unpaved surfaces there and at several other Riverwest properties owned by Grosse. He was cited and fined in municipal court in 2002 for not painting the exterior of 2758 BOOTH, but other than that Grosse seems to have a small number of minor violations for an absentee landlord with 12 properties. He also seems to address and abate problems that do arise in a timely fashion.
Municipal court records show two minor problem individuals associated with this address in the past:
HADLEY, TODD (B/M DOB 12/1986) cited for distributing alcohol to minors at this location 4/5/09. Has an unhappy record but nothing worse than unauthorized use of someone's credit card. He is one of those guys will a bazillion traffic stops who had his licenses suspended long ago and keeps on driving and getting stopped and fined.
HOPKINS JR, JOHN W (B/M DOB 08/1962) is a known felon (burglarly) who frequently operates in the Riverwest area. He used to live at 709 E CENTER ST and was convicted of burglary in the early 80s, again in the early 90s. He was cited for loitering/illegal drug activity at your 2758 BOOTH location in 2007 and was caught prowling nearby at 2648 N FRATNEY ST on 4/7/09 and 726 E TOWNSEND 2/2/09. Also in 2008 on 2700 block of Bremen. HOPKINS has a history of theft and prowling in Riverwest, also Oakland Ave. on the East Side. He's gotten into trouble with police on Holton in the past. His own address is consistently given as 3813 N 68TH ST, MILWAUKEE, WI 53209, owned by BRENDA HOPKINS and KIMBERLY HOPKINS.

Grosse has multiple Riverwest properties, especially concentrated on Booth St. (See list below) He is listed in the UWM Housing landlord directory where his email address and phone number can be obtained:
