Brian, unfortunately this has been a dangerous situation for years. We are no longer at Eduprize but admin. and PD have heard about this from me and others for years. They know accidents have happened there. Hopefully, admin. and PD will be out more and the situation improves.

Agreed, additionally cars speed both ways on the 386 to 496 block and also on Merrill to Golden Key. Every year this is an issue.

I was in line to pick up and 7 cars passed in the wrong direction. It is very frightening. I was about to get out and stand in the road to stop the passing.

They won’t do anything, I was hit by another car trying to pass me on the wrong side of the road last year and complained and nothing was ever done.

The issue is with Eduprize and their pick up/drop off strategy and location. There are Gilbert residents that live in the immediate area that are continuously blocked for lengthy periods of time by non-residents picking up their children. I’m not saying breaking the traffic laws is the answer but the parking lot on Melody created outside of the school on a street that provides some of the only access to residences in the area is NOT the answer either. Eduprize needs to change their pick up and drop off practices or Town of Gilbert needs to widen the street to allow for waiting and passing cars to coexist without hindering or endangering one another. Everyone complaining, let’s come up with solutions.
