Description

There was a second accident in about a week at Monmouth and Columbus. This intersection has been a disaster for years. It helped somewhat when the left turn signal was installed, but drivers going north on Monmouth still race to beat the light, as do drivers turning onto Monmouth from Columbus. Recent police enforcement helped too, but these efforts have apparently been halted. I have lived here for more than a decade and it is a miracle that no one has gotten killed yet. Something should be done before it's too late.
