the sidewalk is not level with the road. it is a trip hazard and a hazard for anyone biking or rolling across this crosswalk.

Thank you for pointing this out. The final asphalt course has not been placed on Barton Drive Yet. This will occur within the next two weeks, weather permitting, and the detour will be removed.
