This particular incident was between 11:30 and noon. I have had problems during the morning rush from time to time. The pavement is always buckled of course. ;-)

Thank you for informing the City of these issues. Staff from the Department of Engineering and Public Works has been working with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) to have the pavement issue resolved. GDOT started to repair the pavement and we are anticipating completion next week. City staff will look at the timing of the lights and see what modifications can be performed.

Staff from the Department of Engineering and Public Works continue to contact GDOT to obtain a date when the necessary repairs will take place along SR 9. Unfortunately, due to the recent rain events over the last month the crews from GDOT are behind schedule and are unable to provide the City a date when repairs will be completed. Once we receive additional information rearding this issue we will post an update.
