Description
The issue here is getting bigger. More and more tents are starting to pop up along Beach street and the Caltrans Property between Mandela and Beach street. The city needs to do something before it has the same issues as Albany bulb re-settlement.

The last time we put reports into caltrans, being the great neighbors they are, caltrans simply pushed all the tents out of their gated property into the street.
Totally ineffective and more dangerous for these people and the traffic.
Further, the amount of times I've seen people using the outside areas as bathrooms (not just #1, pleasant, I know), is a public health hazard.
There has to be a healthy solution for this.

One solution would to be to open your residence up to house these people, you obviously have strong feelings about it.
Hopefully the next anti-homeless gentrifying busybody will be living in your home when you and your apologetic attitude leaves.
