I'm not sure what this status means - with whom do I follow up to check on when the issue will be resolved? Who is "the responsible utility company" and how do I if/when their work is complete?

Thank you for your comments. This issue has been assigned to the Streets Division. The Town has contacted AT&T, the conduct went to a junction box. AT&T said that they will get a tech to investigate issue.

thank you (and sorry to be a pain.) The way we discovered the issue was in our attempt to get AT&T service to our home - AT&T told us that the city needs to clear the conduit for them to be able to provide service...

Checking in to see if AT&T has indicated when they would address the problem?

I request feedback on status of this open issue; we have a right to service by our phone provider, and clearing this conduit is required in order to obtain.

Gene - As stated before the conduit is not part of the Town's infrastructure and belongs to AT&T. The Town will attempt to contact AT&T on your behalf, again.

With whom at AT&T can I follow up on it? Also, how can it be that the Hillsborough's infrastructure "belongs" to AT&T? We may have contracted with AT&T to maintain it, but AT&T owns public conduit and has no obligation to maintain? That doesn't sound right.
