Description
There is a line of steel plates on E 82nd street covering a hole for construction for nearly a month now and when cars drive over the plates, which is every 10 seconds, there is a loud bang. It doesn’t stop. It goes on all day and night and no one has been able to help me with this issue. I’ve called 311 3 times and the DOT just brushes off the issue. I’m so disappointed in the city of NYC because this is a clear violation of their noise codes and borderline torture for residents who are home now more than ever. Please, please help us with this issue and make the noise stop.

I think if we get enough ppl to complain they have to do something. 311 did tell me that the permit for this construction ends on Nov 4th but not sure if they can extend it, etc.
