We need the exact same speed limit signs on Trowbridge Street (one block from Roberts Rd, between Cambridge Str and Kirkland Str).
Trowbridge Street is becoming a Highway: speedy cars, MBTA "Not In Service" buses, trucks, shuttle vans (CHA ...), school buses ... ... ...
The City of Cambridge has promised 20mph speed limit signs for over one year !

Dear Trowbridge neighbor. Neighbors and I have been emailing the city often over this year. As well as the last 10-20 years. This area is definitely at its worst right now for speed and destructive truck traffic. Please write to all the city councilors, the city manager, traffic and parking dept as well as our state reps. The more they hear from us the harder it is to ignore the problems. All their email address are online. Tell your neighbors to do the same. Good luck

The City has been consistently ignoring my messages though !

Thank you for reporting your concern to City of Cambridge via Commonwealth Connect. We have directed our Traffic Unit to conduct early morning traffic and truck enforcement in this area. Additionally, we have recently acquired two new traffic trailers. We will plan on deploying a trailer on Trowbridge once we conclude displaying it at its current location.

This is still a problem, if not worse now. Please inform the traffic unit again.
