I'd really like to know why everyone else is aware of this issue but it still continues in ANY daylight. I don't blame the people -I blame the politicians, the city and the local government running it -what a catastrophe. We need Yale to pick up the city from its KNEES. This is why we want to move out of New Haven (...and we just moved in a few years ago and can't wait to leave). Our city is a mockery for supposedly one of the "nicer" states in the US -what a joke. I moved from NY but the activity and quality of living here is dismal, frightening and doesn't really give us much incentive to go shopping downtown, or ANYwhere locally -forget using public transportation or going to the supermarket -it's a pretty unpleasant experience.

I have reported several times Drug Dealing at 1474 Ella T. Grasso Blvd, but sadly it looks like no one cares. I have called the police several times but they don't do anything about it. How can it be possible that we are letting these drug dealers destroy our city. I have called the police, sent emails to the police, called the DEA, but unfortunatelly they are still there at Dinos Market on 1474 Ella T. Grasso conducting their illegal drug deals at all times of the day. I'm sorry to hear about 55 Church having these problems too, I wich someone would do something about it.

Please continue to call when ever you see is drug activity. The district commanders are responsible for the police patrols in the district.

Just because she gets the emails doesn't mean anything gets done.
Seems dozens of drug dealing complaints in several areas go seemingly ignored. Are we that under siege by criminals?
Do we need to call back the Guardian Angels to clean this city up ourselves?
What happened to the beat patrols downtown??

The cops have to prioritize and can't get to the "petty" drug dealing quality of life issues, but at what point do we say enough is enough???

Lived here a long time and I won't go downtown anymore. I hate driving cause no one obeys traffic laws and most drivers are on their phones, its to the point I don't even follow traffic laws anymore because there are NO REPERCUSSIONS !!! Just try not to hit anything n ur good.

Yes I agree it's a big issue and I was surprised by how obvious these drug deals are around that area. They are not afraid to show it off and it really was very uncomfortable. I hope the city does something about this.

Well call the Chief's office and ask for Chief Dean Esserman . He'll do something about the drug activity on church st
