Description

Speeding along Swede Road between Germantown Pike and Johnson Highway is a danger to local residents and other motorists. Many accidents occur when speeding and distracted drivers crash into cars turning to or from the side streets including Evergreen and Norris City Ave and others. The speed limit is 35mph but 55mph and up is common and Police enforcement is minimal. Radar speed warning units mounted on poles like those on North Wales Road and Whitehall Road would help as would the mobile radar trailer that East Norriton Police use along Germantown Pike.
