Description
New trees planted by DPW around baseball field are settling after rains, in at least 1 case, or appear to have been planted lower than they should have been.. I did not see the men stomp the dirt down in the hole to prevent sinking. That is a low area that stays moist to wet some years.

A. Please check the trees to see if crews need better supervision or training. Please make adjustments to the trees if needed. The trees more north appear to have been planted better, but that area is drier. Also we requested shade trees not street trees.

These trees were planted with our ISA Certified Arborist present.
I will have the site supervisor take a look and request a follow up as well from the Arborist.
